According to Thomas Frank, Christian Eriksen, a Manchester United target, has signed a transfer deal with Brentford.
30year old, Eriksen ha a cardiac arrest while playing the European Championship last summer, he left Inter Milan after that incident happened. After recovery, Eriksen returned to football field in January, making a tremendous comeback in the second half with Brentford, and after that he signed a six-month loan deal with Brentford.
Eriksen is available as a free agent this summer and it is believed that Tottenham has not taken an interest in re-signing him
This means Brentford and United can fight to sign the Eriksen contract that Frank spoke about this week in an interview with Spanish AS outlet. The Brentford manager has confirmed that the player will call him when he decides his plans for the future.
However, a deal was not agreed with any club, which gave United the chance to bid for a free agent.
